At QCS, we believe that caring for the planet starts with simple actions — and waste sorting is one of the key ones. We take a systematic approach to this process in order not only to reduce the amount of garbage, but also to give valuable materials a second life.
Processing results from April to June
Over the past period, we have managed to send 7,280 kg of secondary raw materials for processing, including: • Cardboard — 6,835 kg (corrugated cardboard, boxes, packaging materials) • Waste paper — 45 kg (office, newspaper and other paper) • LDPE — 300 kg (high-pressure polyethylene: film, bags, stretch) • PET — 100 kg (plastic bottles)
Each of these materials has been recycled and will be used to create new products, which reduces the load on landfills and reduces resource consumption.
Why is it important
• Resource savings — processing requires less energy and water than production from primary raw materials. • Reduced emissions — reduces the amount of waste that is incinerated or decomposed with the release of methane. • Eco—friendly culture - QCS employees are involved in the process, and sorting becomes a habit.
Our approach
We have implemented a container system for separate collection, trained our staff in sorting rules and established cooperation with processing companies. This approach makes the process as simple and efficient as possible.
