Why is aviation and industrial catering increasingly dependent on digital accounting and regulations?

Catering for aviation and industrial facilities is a business where an error in one process can affect the entire service cycle. Here, not only the quality of food is important, but also personnel control, compliance with procurement rules, transparency of suppliers, labor protection and accuracy of production schedules. In such cases, digital accounting and internal procedures become the basis of regular work, and not formalities.

This trend is most clearly manifested in the example of companies operating in Kazakhstan at the intersection of aviation and industrial nutrition. Qazaq Catering Solutions announced the introduction of the clockster accounting system in 2026, as well as the update of the procurement regulations and the launch of the supplier register in one of the areas of work. Such steps are usually aimed at increasing the transparency of operational management and reducing risks in the supply chain.

For production facilities, the safety contour is especially important. At the Atasu mine, QCS conducted safety briefings and appointed responsible personnel, which shows that in industrial site catering, the load goes not only to the kitchen, but also to the safety management system and responsibility. In February 2026, the company also published average daily indicators for Qarmet-Orken facilities:

Atansor — 426 servings,

Kentobe — 435 servings,

Atasu - 77 servings.

From the point of view of the market, this is an important signal: catering in Kazakhstan is becoming more technologically advanced and manageable. Companies are already competing not only in terms of their menus or service speed, but also in terms of how well their procurement, accounting, staff control, and compliance with standards are organized. These are the processes that determine the sustainability of business in aviation and large industrial facilities.
