At Qazaqstan Catering Solutions, we recognize our responsibility toward the environment and strive to minimize our ecological footprint. In October, we launched a project to introduce waste separation, contributing to environmental improvement and public health. This initiative has become a key part of our sustainable development strategy.
The ecologization process began with a detailed audit conducted by Mariyam Kasymova—an eco-trainer, eco-consultant, and CEO of Seleu Consult. The audit helped us understand the types and amounts of waste generated and the resources needed for effective waste management. Based on these findings, we developed a comprehensive waste sorting and recycling strategy.
We implemented a waste separation system, ensuring that some materials are sent for recycling. This reduces landfill volumes and supports a circular economy. We believe that this step not only helps conserve resources but also contributes to improving the country's environmental situation.
One of the key stages of ecologization was training our employees in proper waste sorting practices. Mariyam Kasymova conducted a training session where our colleagues learned how to correctly separate waste and adopt more responsible consumption habits. To simplify the process, we designed special stickers for waste bins to indicate where each type of waste should be disposed of.
We do not plan to stop here. In the future, we will continue improving our sorting and recycling processes while expanding employee training programs. Our goal is to make sustainable consumption an integral part of Qazaqstan Catering Solutions' corporate culture.
